Each profile explains what a Skill does, where it comes from, how to install it, and whether we have tested it.
We keep the creator's claims, our summary, and our own test results clearly separated.
A note from the founder
Why I built AI Labour Department
Since tools such as Codex and Claude became part of everyday work, the number of Skills has grown quickly. These reusable packages of instructions can help an AI agent handle a specific task more effectively.
That growth has created a new problem. The more Skills there are, the harder it becomes to know which one to use.
Two Skills may promise the same result and perform very differently. Many jobs also need more than one Skill. A job search, for example, may involve finding suitable roles, analysing job descriptions, tailoring a CV, researching employers, writing cover letters, and preparing for interviews.
Most people do not want to test hundreds of Skills one by one. They want a reliable and efficient way to complete the whole task. That is why I built this site.
We screen and test Skills that appear worth using. As the library grows, we will also organise them into complete Workflows built around real tasks in work and study.

What we cover
What we mean by an AI Skill
We use "AI Skill" as a broad term for reusable instructions, agent packages, collections, extensions, toolkits, and related software. Each one is designed to help with a particular task. The directory is currently strongest in research and study, and we are expanding its coverage of professional and everyday work.
How to read a Skill profile
Check where the information came from
A plain language explanation based on the sources linked in the profile.
A record of what we ran, what happened, and what the test did not cover.
If we have not tested a Skill, we mark it as "Not tested". Its profile is a listing, not a recommendation.
What a test result means
A test only covers the version and feature we tested
Each report identifies the component and version we tested. It also explains how and when we ran the test and what the result does not cover. Testing one component does not mean we tested the whole repository.

A profile is not a test report
Every Skill can have a profile that explains what it does and links to its official source. Only Skills we have tested receive a test report. If there is no report, we mark the Skill as "Not tested".

Tell us when something is wrong or out of date
Creators and users can report an outdated description, broken link, ownership error, or problem with a test report. We check each request against the official source and update the page when necessary.
